Total Web Development are here to build you a great website
We have been building websites for over 10 years so you can rest assured that we know what we are doing. Our aim is to build you a great looking website that works for you - at a price you can afford.
Selling your products online can be a complex affair if you don’t get the right help and advice. We have been building eCommerce websites for over 10 years and can talk you though all your options including taking payments online, delivery options and customer data security.
We can help you drive traffic (and customers) to your website using a wide range of strategies – including SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), Social Network marketing and Pay per Click advertising. Our packages start at a low £100 per month and can be tailored to your individual needs.
We work with some great clients, here are just a few of the websites we have built for them over the years.
What we do and how we work
Step 1 is of course your inital contact, we take some details from you about what you want your website design to achieve, design ideas, content ideas etc – at this point we can provide an estimate of the cost.
Step 2 is where we send you a detailed plan of what your website could look like and what pages and functionality will be included (things like maps, contact forms, image galleries etc) and a definate price. If you are happy to go ahead then you pay 50% deposit and we move on to step 3.
Step 3 is basic design and functionality building, we will build your new website on a private server so that only you and us can view the progress. You will get a link to view the site and you can suggest changes and “shape” your website as it is built.
Step 4 is final testing and deployment – this is where you agree that the website is finished to your liking and we move it from the testing server to a live server where the world can now see it.
Owning a website can be a hassle right? Well no – not with the Total Web Development team here to keep things running smoothly.
If you own your own business then you are already overloaded with daily problems – staffing issues, late deliveries, missing paperwork… the list goes on and on.
The last thing you need to worry about is your website, which is why we offer a hassle free service to all clients that host their websites with us.
Normally your emails and website are handled by a hosting company and any problems require you to open support tickets or telephone a call center (press 1 for sales, 2 for support etc) but we own and operate our own webservers which mean that any technical issues with our hardware are instantly reported to us and fixed by us. If you are having any issues with our hosting or your website then just one email or phone call is all you need to worry about – we take care of the rest.
“Value for money” is a term used far to often these days to promote cheap and tacky products and services.
We are not cheap but we do offer great value for money…
The cost to design and build a website is calculated by the time spent on it – the cheaper the cost the less time the designer spends on the project.
By doing a quick Google search for cheap web design it is easy to find someone who will build you a website for under £100 – but just how much time and effort will you get for your cash?
Our prices for basic web design start at £350 (we also offer discounts under certain circumstances) which we think is a fair price for the amount of time we spend building and developing our clients websites.
We are 100% upfront with our pricing and there are no hidden fee’s or extra’s to sell you.
Unlike a lot of our competitors we like to build long term relationships with our clients…
From building your initial website to improving and evolving it over the years, we take the time to understand our client’s businesses and their needs, and we can even suggest improvements as new trends influence web development to make sure our clients are getting the best from their websites
As your business grows then your website should also grow with it – adding news articles, images and new products / services. You should be ‘social network’ aware – when new social networks become popular you should use them to attract new customers.
Adding new features to your website also improves the customer experience, which can improve conversion rates and sales.
As you can see – we are here for you and your website for as long as you need us.
